This guitar will hit completion in late December  2009.  It is from my newest aquisition of The Best Tonewood I've encountered, Pernambuco. This  latest wood is the best I've seen yet, and this is the first guitar from it.  I expect great things.  The tree is generally less than 8" in diameter, so 2 piece quarter sawn back shouldn't be possible, yet that is what this is! The tree was a giant  of it's kind.

Long Scale
1 3/4+ nut x 2 1/4+ bridge pin spacing
Cambodian Rosewood binding/head plate

1996 Coo'stik Dominator
(#2 in the series)
in 95%+ condition.
The original LB-6 PU
from Baggs is working fine.
This is an ornate cutaway
induced arch jazz guitar.
Originally sold for $4400,
would be $8500 today,
I'll take $4K.
includes OHC.

X-1:
This is the artiest solid body I
(or most anyone else) ever made.
It is a sculpture from a chunk of
Chechen (a Mexican wood sometimes called "Black Poison" wood) and is fitted with an early
Gibson humbucker through a
modern Bartolini pre-amp.
This guitar is fairly light and balances on the strap quite well.
I am selling it for the owner. $6000
I have made 4 violins
that I would be willing
to part with.
They vary in price according to my mood, somewhere
between $2500 and
$7500
If you can wait, commissioning a new guitar gets you more of what you want.
You will bond with the guitar in a way that is otherwise elusive.
